Having lived and breathed the building industry for much of his life, Chris is passionate about building beautifully-crafted, quality, custom homes that delight their owners. He’s also committed to personally working closely with all our clients.

Chris’s journey began during school holidays when he worked for a commercial building business as a brickies labourer at high-rise construction sites. From there, it was a natural progression, as he went from a carpentry apprentice to site supervisor, before becoming a fully-licenced builder.

As founder and director of Munro Designed Homes, Chris sets high standards for himself and the MDH team, with an emphasis on building quality and value. When he’s not busy turning your dream home into a reality, Chris enjoys competitive sailing and spending time with his young family.

Yohanna leverages her 20+ years’ experience in the building industry as she oversees estimation and sales for Munro Designed Homes.

Calm and professional, Yohanna enhances your MDH experience with consistent, transparent communication. She also regularly liaises with our team and contractors, doing her part to ensure your custom home reflects the home you’ve always dreamt of.

Away from MDH, Yohanna enjoys indulging her inner foodie, travelling, and spending time with close family and friends.

Jimmy is the steady hand behind every Munro Designed Homes build, bringing over two decades of experience in the building industry since starting his career in 2003. A qualified cabinet maker by trade, he has an exceptional eye for detail and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship that shows in every stage of construction.

His background in cabinetry gives him a unique perspective on precision, finishes and the finer points that elevate a home from good to exceptional. From structural stages right through to final handover, Jimmy ensures every element meets the Munro Designed Homes standard.

Known for his calm, practical approach and strong communication with trades, suppliers and clients, Jimmy keeps projects running smoothly and on schedule. He takes pride in maintaining organised, efficient sites and delivering homes that are built properly the first time.

Outside of work, Jimmy is a proud family man with two kids, a boy and a girl, and spends his downtime enjoying NRL, cricket and time with family. His commitment to teamwork on the field mirrors the way he runs his sites – structured, disciplined and always focused on the end goal.

With years of hands-on experience and a genuine passion for quality building, Jimmy plays a key role in bringing each Munro Designed Homes project to life.

Katerina joined Munro Designed Homes in June 2025, bringing extensive experience across real estate, banking and senior accounting roles. With a strong financial background and a meticulous eye for detail, she plays a key role in ensuring the operational and financial side of the business runs smoothly and efficiently.

In 2024, Katerina achieved her CPA qualification, further strengthening her expertise in financial management, compliance and strategic oversight. Her professional journey reflects discipline, dedication and a commitment to excellence. With hands-on experience in both property and finance, she understands the building industry from multiple angles and ensures every detail behind the scenes is managed with precision.

Originally from Russia, Katerina moved to Australia in 2011 and has since built a successful career and life here. Her structured, analytical approach is balanced by a calm and personable nature, making her a valued support to the team and clients alike.

Outside of work, Katerina is a devoted wife and mother to two high school children. She enjoys cycling, playing golf, spending time at the beach and travelling whenever possible. Whether she’s managing complex financial processes or planning the next family adventure, she approaches everything with focus, integrity and enthusiasm.

Katerina’s professionalism, experience and CPA accreditation provide a strong financial foundation that supports every Munro Designed Homes project.

As our interior designer, Virginie helps you bring your dream custom home to life with innovative design concepts that meet your specific needs. With her guidance, you can be confident that the finishes and products you select for your home won’t just match your vision – they’ll also look great!

Years spent travelling through Europe and America have helped develop Virginie’s sense of flair and design, as she draws on styles from Paris, London, New York, and beyond.
